Delete your ApnaBharosa account
You can permanently delete your account and the data we hold about you at any time. Two paths below: do it in the app, or email us.
Option A — In the app (fastest)
If you still have the ApnaBharosa app installed and you can unlock it with your PIN:
- 1Open the ApnaBharosa app on your phone
- 2Unlock with your PIN or biometric
- 3Tap the Profile tab
- 4Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
- 5Confirm the action — your account and vault are wiped from your device immediately, and a deletion request is sent to our servers
This cannot be undone.Once deleted, your encrypted vault, nominees, and recovery records are removed from our servers. We cannot recover them, even with your recovery phrase.
Option B — Email request
If you no longer have access to the app (lost phone, uninstalled, PIN forgotten), email us from the email or phone number tied to your account:
- 1Send an email to admin@apnabharosa.com
- 2Subject: Account deletion request
- 3Body: include your registered mobile number (and email, if you set one)
- 4We will verify ownership of the number via SMS OTP and confirm the deletion within 7 working days
What gets deleted

About backups: backups are encrypted at rest and not directly searchable. They roll off automatically — we don't go in and surgically delete records from a backup tape. Within 35 days the backup that contains your data will have rotated out completely.
Active subscription?
If you have an active Premium or Premium Plus subscription when you delete your account:
- Your subscription does not refund automatically. Google Play handles refunds; if you need one, request it via Google Play Help.
- Auto-renewal is cancelled when your account is deleted so you won't be billed again.
- For any billing question after deletion, email admin@apnabharosa.com.
